Updated the Links page with a bunch of sites I visit on a regular basis: writing, design, music, friends, and several amusing time-killers.
Sure, it's nearly four years old now, but due to the modest success of my short film, Featurette, I've finally been invited into the online pantheon of . . . official existence, with an IMDb entry. Better yet, you can now watch the entire thing right there as well, and at higher quality than available here. Congrats to the cast and crew on their own entries, too. So kick back and have a few cinematic laughs for nostalgia's sake.
Enjoy a two-chapter sample from my new in-progress novel, Flashover.
Fellow scribe Craig Wallwork was kind enough to add me to his collection of interviews with emerging writers. We discussed my work, rockstar fantasies, the publishing biz, and brain tumors. Be sure to check out his own excellent short stories while you're there.
My industry blog Medialysis was long overdue for a facelift, so dig its brand new look with the same great taste. I also recently decided to pull back the curtain on its anonymity (no surprise for those who found it from this site). It's about all things creative, with original articles, Q&A, and comedic diversions.

Check out my gFilms mini-site: bite-sized movie reviews with all a film snob needs to know before arranging that Netflix queue. Subjective, cynical, and wholly unaccountable, with a heaping helping of hyperbole. Expect frequent updates with older and newer films. Updated 5/13/09: C, D, F, R, S, T.

The Words section now offers more than just shameless novel-pimping, including some exclusive short stories and links to my published ones. Updated 1/1/10.

I also catalogued the Comedy page with amusing posts from my Medialysis blog.

Jason Kane conducted this feature interview with Yours Truly, now online at the newly-redesigned Oxyfication. You'll find profiles of artists on the rise (many who work in multiple mediums), reviews and essays, and a community of creatives with diverse interests.
Check out the new Design page. Some of this content was already available elsewhere on this site, but now I've also compiled my graphics work into one section, with some background details as well. Click the orange cropping tool icon above.
Hear me read Chaper 12 (Mere Exposure) from my novel Major inversions, or right-click and Save Target to download the podcast for later. Also check out the updated Major Inversions promo page by clicking the icon on the left.
My short story -Esque is featured in Two Guys Enter a Bar. One Leaves., the premiere issue of the Colored Chalk lit zine (and theme for all stories this month). You're also encouraged to plaster your own 'hood with paper copies, guerilla style, by downloading the printer-ready PDF. Many thanks to editor Caleb Ross and web-enabler Jason Heim.
We've launched our page for Winebox, my new duo with Shannon Lipps, both of us formerly of Molly's Crush. I call it "progressive blues," and it's a mix of soulful covers and originals. Please "Friend" us! The GDotCom Music page right here has also been updated, where you can hear higher-quality versions of these songs.
Bought a killer new camera sysem; see it here. It's a Panasonic DVX100B with a Redrock M2 adapter – the closest thing possible to a film look by using 24P and cinegamma, and mounting standard SLR Nikon lenses for narrow depth of field.
Yep, I'm on Facebook now, too. Not terribly different than my MySpace page, and equally whorish, but I dig it hella more. It just seems more professional without all the clutter, yet has plenty of cool plug-in apps and lots of connection opportunities. Unfortunately you do have to be a member to view it.
I embedded the entire site with AnswerTips from answers.com. This means you can double-click any word anywhere in this site (that isn't already hyperlinked), and get a convenient pop-up with additional info like definitions, wiki articles, pronunciation, etc. without leaving GDotCom. Sorry, no Safari or Opera support.
Check out the mini-site for my latest short film, Featurette, including the full version now available online. It screened at the KC Filmmakers Jubilee and at the Faux Film fest in Porland, OR.
