Panasonic AJ-DVX100B
with Redrock M2 (Micro35)

The DVX camera uses film-like gamma curves for a flatter "negative" that provides more flexibility in post. It also records a true 24-frame progressive-scan signal that looks great on DVD or on the web, eliminating the telltale interlaced fields of NTSC video. The built-to-order M2 allows me to mount my Nikon 35mm lenses on this camera, with the glass quality and characteristics we associate with theatrical films, sexier and with reduced depth of field. That means less of the frame is in focus, drawing the viewer's eye to what's important and resulting in a far more dramatic look. Inside the box is a motorized transparent cinescreen that spins at a high RPM, eliminating any visible grain, dust, or hairs.
